I’m Katie, an enthusiastic, modern British wedding celebrant based in Crete, passionate about creating unforgettable ceremonies that capture the essence of your unique love story. I want you to look forward to your ceremony just as much as the party afterwards! After all, the ceremony is the heart of your wedding day, the very reason your guests have travelled to Greece to witness you both say "I do".
As your celebrant, I’ll be a friendly, familiar face to help keep you calm and at ease. I'll engage with your guests, making them feel like part of your special day, and ensure that your most romantic moments are unforgettable. I truly believe that the ceremony should never be the boring part, it should be just as fun, meaningful, and memorable as the celebration that follows!
Getting to know my couples is a true pleasure, and it’s essential for me to understand both of you as deeply as possible. This helps me create a ceremony that perfectly reflects your relationship, love story, values, and beliefs.
After all, it’s your wedding ceremony, so it can be exactly how you envision it — personalised in every way to celebrate your unique story.
It is always a huge honour for me to write and officiate couples' ceremonies. I would need at least a couple of calls with the couple to get to know them and gain a clear understanding of what they want and envision for their ceremony. I send my couples lots of information about ceremony structure, ideas, reading examples, a questionnaire, and even vow examples. I then start writing your ceremony from scratch, just for you.
You can include whatever you like in your ceremony script: your love story, a reading, song lyrics, a ritual, or even a sentimental guest you’d like to have speak. There are really no limits—this is your ceremony, your way!
Once I have written your ceremony, I will send you the first draft. If there's anything you’d like to change or edit, I will make those adjustments right away. I like to think of myself as someone you can feel comfortable and safe with, so you can rest assured that I’m here to make your ceremony exactly as you’ve dreamed it to be!

Since I am a certified, independent wedding celebrant, I am able to create very special, bespoke ceremonies for all types of couple.
